Autofix is a new business located in a convenient position enroute to and from Blackpool Central. It is just a stones throw from Blackpool’s South Shore and also very close to Blackpool’s up and coming Airport.

Simon Watkinson, the proprietor of Autofix has been a mechanic for over 20 years and for 15 of those he has been self-employed. He has vast experience in the electronics of all makes of modern motor vehicles (In other words there’s nowt he don’t know about cars).

Simon previously had a thriving business at Squires Gate in Blackpool where he steadily built up a reputation as reliable, thorough and trustworthy. Simon moved his business to new larger premises to cope with the growing and welcome demand for his services, from new and old customers. This has enabled him to incorporate the expansion of his business needs. He has invested in modern diagnostic equipment that helps identify faults on the vast majority of modern vehicles. This is a service that cannot be found in all garages in the area.

Simon and his team specialise in MOT testing and servicing of all makes of vehicles. There is a bay area dedicated to servicing so the team can devote their full attention to the specific job in hand. The business also covers a wide range of repairs such as Braking systems, exhausts, clutches, suspensions and much much more.

Autofix has a small team but is far from lacking in experience and expertise. One of the team members is his brother Dave who also has 20 years experience in the trade. He spent 10 years with TVR working his way up to test driver and head of the service department. His experience and skill is a huge asset to the business and he is especially qualified in modern injection and management systems. The final member of the team is Rick (the apprentice) who also plays a very important role within Autofix. His enthusiasm is second to none however although this quality is commendable he is probably better recognised and appreciated for his expert brewing up skills. And where would they all be without that. :o)
